My son recently turned 13 and I wanted him to have the experience of handling a rifle and learning safe target practice. I preferred that he used a manual action rifle avoiding the semi auto black guns and as a result I purchased a large loop carbine .22. This is the first lever action rifle I have owned and I was somewhat hesitant buying this as the rifle that my son would shoot for his first time.
We just returned from our outdoor range and I have to say it was a pleasure to handle. Over 300 rounds and we didn’t have one misfeed. The rifle is solid construction and worked flawlessly. The fact that it has the feel and look of the old western era guns made it that much more interesting and nostalgic. My son was able to handle this particular rifle with ease and within minutes had the action working, knew how to safely handle the rifle and was firing accurate groups. His confidence was evident within minutes and we had a great day plinking tin cans and targets together.
If his interest continues as it did today this carbine will become his soon and I will be definitely be purchasing another Henry product! Thank you for making this a memorable time.
We were honored to meet Mr. Anthony Imperato at the 2014 NRA conference in Indianapolis. His genuine spirit and care for his customers really warmed our hearts and increased our pride in our ownership of Henry guns.
Of course we are happy to receive the fireside mugs( HM001) that Mr. Imperato has offered. However, I also want to take this time to express my gratitude for his and all of Henry employee’s time and care for their products. We have and shoot often, a classic carbine ..22. This past Christmas, I surprised my husband with another Henry gun, a ..357 Big Boy. I am overwhelmingly proud of my husband. He has served his country in two major capacities, as a CWO3 with the United States Marine Corp Reserve for 22 years, with two tours of duty in Iraq and as a police sergeant for over 25 years. As you can imagine, many guns have passed through his hands and yet, the Big Boy is his favorite!
Please pass our sincere gratitude along.

It was a pleasure to meet with you at the NRA convention on Friday. I have attached the photo of our children with their Henry rifles they received this past Christmas as presents. Their names are Jeremy, Cassandra, Mindy, Duncan, Heidi, Renee, Charlton(named after Mr. Heston) & Hannah. As a firearms dealer, I sell many Henry rifles and my customers are always impressed with the good looks and high quality of your rifles. You should be very proud of your company and the workmanship and quality that goes into your products as I am of selling them. Thanks
Mr. Imperato, Thank you for your generous offer of the HCASE Henry Gun Case. After learning from you that the Henry 17 won’t be available in time, we purchased a Golden Boy 22 rifle at Bass Pro Shops in Fort Myers FL and received a return of our deposit from Army Navy Guns. We are taking the gun to our brother-in-law in Ohio for his 80th birthday in September. He has admired your guns for a long time and will be thrilled to own one.
Caterpillar celebrated a landmark fundraising effort for United Way this year, raising $32,000 for the charitable organization. “It’s really about United Way,” said Marty Groover, facility manager for the Danville plant. “We have great employees and they care about their community.” The 97 employees at the Danville location raised half the funds for United Way and the Caterpillar company agreed to match that.
